None of this is describing &quot;direct&quot; communication styles. It&#x27;s just aggression and abuse.<p>Being direct when you don&#x27;t like someone&#x27;s work is saying literally, &quot;I don&#x27;t like this&quot;. Continuing on to then say, &quot;and you&#x27;re an idiot for even trying&quot; is not directness. It&#x27;s the opposite of direct. It&#x27;s going off on an unrelated tangent.

This entire article reads like a vonnegut novel. Its so close to being self aware that i cannot tell whether it actually intends to be ironic.

This is a useful article about Amazon work culture.<p>And is also why I will never work there, and why they’re going to have ongoing diversity-of-thought issues, as that’s not a culture a lot of people can thrive in.
