This is pretty fascinating:
> “Possibly Real Copy Of ‘Fairies’ by Andy Warhol” is a series of 1000 identical artworks. They are all definitely by MSCHF, and also all possibly by Andy Warhol. Any record of which piece within the set is the original has been destroyed.
It's like laundering forged art with permission. If the piece costs $20k and you sell 1,000 pieces for $500 each, you've made almost a half million dollars by selling forged art with permission
It's totally weird but I have to admit that a "possibly" real piece is like a million times cooler than a "definitely" print. Or... maybe at least ten times cooler.

Art is many things, like collectible or something to enjoy.
Doing this mixing you kill the collectible value, but leave the value of art untouched.
Of course, many modern art pieces are perceived to have no artistic value, unless you know the origin.
