There&#x27;s a whole genre of credulous &quot;turn X into Y&quot; articles that reporters at business rags churn out.<p>Typically, they&#x27;re &quot;urine powered batteries&quot;, turning filthy nitrogenous waste into pure, clean, electricity, but occasionally they turn some kind of fecal material into sausages, or urine into drinking water.<p>This is just modern-day alchemy, and needs to be dismissed with extreme prejudice.

Allegedly they can turn bat viruses into a human pandemic. Good luck to us all.
