Sometimes I wonder what other people do with their phones to need these kinds of apps.<p>Personally I use my phone quite extensively to search for routes (google maps), to check my mail, to chat, take photos, play a few games, glance at the sync'ed calendar, listen to music, browse HN and... to make phone-calls.<p>Not a single time have I felt a need to search something from my "social graph", or my dropbox, or my calendar, or my facebook, or anything like that...
Out of curiosity, how many of you use Greplin on a regular basis (> 1x/week)? A great concept and possibly great technology but not something I've gone back to.
Looks great, but I just don't trust small companies -- especially those set up by teenagers -- with that level of data. I know too well how too many people behave when they got access to the mail spools back in the day, this is that on a much grander scale.<p>There's something reassuring about being one user drop in an ocean of millions, as I am in GMail.
