Ask HN: How do you take a CS class after college?

3 pointsby n8taover 3 years ago
I feel like I missed a few things in school, database theory, queuing, optimizing IR in a compiler, etc.
Is there a cost efficient way to take these undergrad/grad CS courses at a college after completing your degree?
I do prefer a formal course with an instructor but, if those are going to be very expensive, do you have suggestions for alternative resources?

I would recommend coursera: https://www.coursera.org/browse/computer-science/software-de....
