The device seams to be a dongle like the old dongles to unlock software. They are using a new algorithm, that looks interesting, but I&#x27;m not sure it&#x27;s groundbreaking.<p>Then they use two dongles. I don&#x27;t understand why that increase the security. If you can build a fake dongle or hack one, then it&#x27;s easy to get a second one.<p>Then they put the two dongles far away, and synchronize the queries, so light has no time to travel from a device to the other and they ensure that you have two devices. It&#x27;s a very simple use of Special Relativity. I don&#x27;t think it&#x27;s new. (Perhaps there are some technical problems here, but GPS can synchronize things quite fine.)<p>And the last paragraph about quantum entanglement makes no sense. You can&#x27;t use entanglement to transmit information faster than light, so I don&#x27;t understand how you can use quantum mechanics to break the check of two dongles.
