Is relevant (Linux) Software RAID nowadays?

Is there anyone are using Linux Software RAID? Or do you think that cloud/devops age has turned it somewhat irrelevant.

If you are running your own host machines to essentially host VM&#x27;s (private cloud), then yes.<p>There may be some cases for just directly running on the HW as well.<p>If you only do cloud like AWS etc then no, you don&#x27;t need SW raid, but don&#x27;t discount knowing a bit about it.
