How many pounds of coal did this game consume? I wonder if it's possible to compare the watt-hours of a typical game of snake as compared to this.
> With a 30M gas limit one could think this is still nothing to worry about, but the more precisely the simulation logic is implemented (including edge case handling, etc), the more operations like those listed above are needed, making it very likely that with a long game, the limit is breached.
I’m not sure how much efficiency was gained rewriting with bitwise operators, but the 30M gwei game would be very expensive: $125 USD for a single game of snake at current gas prices.

Great so now for only 400 dollars and a several days worth of electricity I can have a gif of a game of snake.
I love having fun with technology but when you add money and grossly negligent resource use it stops being so fun.
