This reminds me of grade-school incident.<p>A kid put his tongue on a cast iron fence surrounding our school in the middle of a cold Canadian winter. The fire department was called, and they tried to warm the fence up with warm water. When the kid eventually pulled away, the top layer of his tongue stayed stuck to the fence.<p>For much of rest of the winter there were small bits of human tongue frozen into the fence for all the kids, me included, to gawk at.
