I’d like Apple to be in control of their whole supply and logistics chain.<p>I’m trying to buy a MacBook Pro 16” with lots of ram this week and Apple reports there’s no stock in store and earliest ship date is 4~8 weeks out.<p>Apple normally prides themselves on being able to ship stuff after announcing it. These are unprecedented times of course, but this seems like the kind of rough customer experience that would/did keep Tim Cook up at night.
