I&#x27;m old so I still think compiling css is wild<p>And I was really thinking this was going to be something that took away not just npm and node and whatever else, but the entire build&#x2F;compile step<p>Then I read &#x27;self-extracting executable&#x27; or similar and had an inside smile<p>Tho it does seem like it could be a step in the right direction<p>Maybe it&#x27;s just an unsolvable problem<p>I do feel like it&#x27;s only us olds that complain about compiling css<p>It&#x27;s prob part of why that ruby instead of node post blew up -- modern web dev sucks<p>So prob +1 for making it slightly less sucky<p>Tho wish tw never displaced bootstrap from Laravel
