In a summary: everything is contingent, there is no apriori truth (in mathematical sense).<p>What happens when a science confronts its own technical flaws, logical inconsistencies and lack of coherence? M. Kline (loss of certainty), I. Prigogine (end of certainty), R. Laughlin (different universe) and many more thinkers. it is humbling and awe-inspiring at the same time to live in times where many competent fellow humans provide enough material wealth to have time (and socio-political freedom in several areas of science) even to ponder these things and get a chance to misunderstand fundamental nature of things on ever more deeper level.
