Cannot use self-driving functionality in my country and I think this is pretty much the only useful feature of software invading cars.<p>I understand that manufacturers would want to have that inhouse of course. Not just for better development that builds knowledge, the key to any engineering companies, but also because you can react more flexible if supply chains get disrupted.
