This what happens when no one gets fired for buying IBM&#x2F;Oracle (or big enterprise company like Microsoft). From the link:<p>Instead of saving $70 million a year as planned, the report said that the cost to taxpayers to fix Phoenix&#x27;s problems could reach a total of $2.2 billion by 2023.<p>In June 2011, IBM won the sole-source contract to set up the system, using PeopleSoft software, the original contract was for $5.7 million, but IBM was eventually paid $185 million.
