Incredible that tesla recalling almost the same number of cars that they produced this year is a non-story here but their Q4 planning is front page stuff.
I just got an email today telling me my Model 3 is impacted. First time I’ll have to bring it in during the three years of owning it (rotated tires myself, otherwise no maintenance). I know because it’s Tesla it makes news, but I’ve had to bring in my previous Audi multiple times for recall or air bag fixes and same with our Chrysler. All that to say it’s kind of part of owning a vehicle, Tesla isn’t more special than other car companies.<p>I wonder if anyone else heard people saying that you shouldn’t buy a car within the first two years of it getting a remake? Let them work out the kinks? Or maybe some nonsense my family used to say.
