<i>At Amherst, students must double mask if they don’t use a KN95.</i><p>This at least, has a basis in current scientific knowledge of aerosols and the viability of masks which are lower threshold than N95.<p>To the rest of the article, I think I sympathise with where this is going: the experience for this cohort of students is dissatisfying. It may not be actually worse than the equivalent prior (life in university during wartime) but for the current generation, it certainly feels as bad, and as incoherent in terms of delivery of education, and experiences. If it were me I'd feel cheated, especially if paying for a premium outcome.
