I'm pretty sure you could read this exact kind of article already in april 2020.
> Workers cannot permanently be kept away from their offices.
And yet, I keep reading about companies that postpone their "back to office" dates again and again because workers have adapted to home office and are refusing to come back.
I read that Demmark's just decided so, based on actual reasons and arguments. Chiefly that their vaccination rates are high.
The Spectator author doesn't seem to have similar reasons. Nothing in the article makes me think that he'd arrive at the opposite conclusion if any fact about the world were different.
People are sick of Covid.
We're at 70% vaccination rate and we have double the number of cases we did at the height of the pandemic.
Mask mandates haven't worked, quarantines don't work, locking down entire countries doesn't work.
It's time to accept that this is endemic and not make Covid the center of everyone's existence any longer.
What a load of crap writing. Just idiotic.
Is this a major news site, or someone’s first blog post?
Surely the writer could do better, and surely the editor could’ve insisted on it.
