No, not like in the US.
I guess the main factor is that the pay ranges are much smaller for the jobs accross companies.<p>You won't get a 30% raise by jumping ship, unless you were severly underpaid.<p>Also there is a glass ceiling for ICs (90k€ -100k€) that is really hard to break through with the exception of very few faang jobs.
It's kind of usual for the beginning of the year. But also a lot of people don't want to go back to the office and already relocated elsewhere during the pandemic. Where I currently work we're experiencing this as well, half my team resigned and I'll be next.
There is high demand for IT related people in Germany. It has been like this for some time, and by the looks of it will continue to be. Cost of living has gone up lately but salaries in IT sector has been trying to match those costs. It all comes down to you negotiation skills.
