Useless. On android I can place the cursor with one tap exactly where I want. I can even place it to the left or right of a narrow letter, i, without any problem<p>With iphone system you have to realize that the change you want to make is in the middle of a word so tapping is not enough, press the spacebar and wait for it to change, use the screen as a joystick and try to get your cursor where you want it. Much slower than a simple tap.
Great stuff, resolves one of my biggest issues on iOS keyboard editing - getting that cursor just where you want it wastes too much time in for me, this makes the workflow smooth and predictable- I like it! Oh, I just noticed that the motion when you press and move the cursor normally appears to have improved too!!
Wow! This is really neat! I’ve been using an iPad since the first model (no iPhone though) and have always struggled with positioning the cursor while editing entered text, most often in the browser’s address bar. This feature is undiscoverable though, like much of the other tricks in Apple’s systems.
