Ask HN: What do you use to edit videos?

1 pointsby nyellinover 3 years ago
I'm looking for a dead-simple solution to edit videos on a Mac.
Today I record videos with Loom and then upload them to YouTube. This works well, but I need a solution for minor editing - e.g. cutting two videos and then stitching them together.
I don't need anything fancy. I just want to create product demos for software that I work on. (E.g. here is a video I created yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9LoJo8MgnM)
Any recommendations?

Adobe Premier.
It is overkill for what I use it for, but I know it pretty well. I've seen 'easy to use' video editors that were glitchy or that I struggled to figure out.
I have a subscription to creative cloud and use Photoshop every day and other other tools every week so I already paid for it.
