Infantilizing the Computing Public

A very long "get off my lawn" rant about a non problem. I have plenty of customers who have been crippled by hard to use software and confusing operating systems. It wasn't until android and iphones came along that any of them really got comfortable with computing (farmers skew older).
Just because it doesn't look like whatever nostalgia has done to your memories doesn't mean it's bad.
Nobody uses an apple ii for anything serious any more and for good reason. The blinking cursor on a green screen is a wonderful challenge for a small number of people. For ordinary, non technical folk it was an inscrutable warning light that only lead to more puzzles the further you got in.
