Hi, I'm Zhiyuan Ju[1] from China, and since my graduation from university in 2019, I started contributing to the Apache APISIX project[2], and now it's more like an ecosystem including API Gateway, Kubernetes Ingress Controller, and Service Mesh. Also, its community provides WASM and multi-language support (not only Lua ).
In the past 2 years, it grows very fast in China, that's because it was born in China but donated to Apache Software Foundation after several months, now it's the Top-Level Project in the foundation.
For now, we have user cases[3] like Tencent, Airwallex, Weibo, WPS, NASA, and so on. If you have any demands when using API Gateway product, have a try on Apache APISIX
As an Open Source project, contributors and Apache Software Foundation's culture are the DNA of the Apache APISIX Community, let's give to our team![4]
[1] http://github.com/juzhiyuan

The Ingress Controller spreadsheet[1] was what initially raised my interest in APISIX. The feature support matrix in APISIX's column is very very very high, most impressive.
APISIX and Nginx+ are the only two with anything in the QUIC/HTTP3 field. Both currently "preview". Which is young, but I'm very excited, very neat to see this new entrant getting support from this front-end gateway. Especially with WebTransport shipping in chrome, there's a lot of re-architecting the data-center that's underway. Any toehold is appreciated.
Ya'll tick a bunch of other fairly unique boxes. Service API ("Ingress v2") is ticked. That's excellent. HA, DPDK & Offload support up the wazoo: ya'll clearly have a high performance, enterprise-grade bent, which is excellent. I don't know what your Global Load Balancing option entails but that you're thinking about it is visionary & wonderful. There's a ton to love here.
Thank you all for the great work. I look forward to exploring it soon. But I can already confidently say you all have done great things, great work, and the spirit of releasing this is greatly appreciated. I wish you & all the rest of the team the best.
[1] https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/191WWNpjJ2za6-nbG4ZoU...
