HEPA filters can only filter out larger particles, many viruses, bacteria, mold spores and volatile organic compounds are not affected, and consequently neither bioweapons.
Luckily bioweapons are not commonly used, so this marketing probably won't hurt anyone for a change.
Is this really that amazing? It seems like Tesla just put some high end HEPA filters in their car. I assume any manufacturer could do that without much trouble?
Edit: I'm a huge HEPA fan and have 3 of the 99.99% filters running in my house right now in addition to a really nice filter for the central AC. So this is nice and would be good for combatting smog.
