Wow, that&#x27;s a disgustingly hostile move by Apple to force developers to implement a dark pattern in their app and try and gouge as much money as they can from the user and the developer.<p>Apple platform developers really need to start educating Apple users that it is ultimately them that ends up paying that extra 30% Apple tax for absolutely no reason.

I&#x27;m not sure where he&#x27;s get expensive from: 3% is entirely in line with payment processing costs.<p>As for the other stuff, yeah it seems fairly dickish but at the same time they&#x27;ve clearly stated they&#x27;re working on APIs to make it require less work.
