Despite the fact that Reddit's success comes from the open web, all their focus now is on their app. I think this is a mistake.<p>Do you think this is a generational or an economic decision? In other words, do the third generation PMs at Reddit simply think the web sucks, or do they prefer the app because it generates more revenue since, among other features, it's harder to block ads? Or something else? Do Reddit users really only prefer the app?
