Am I the only one who feels more comfortable in video calls? Don't get me wrong, I would rather be in person, but I have relatively high anxiety, and if I have to present or talk in a room full of people I always start out very nervous. On zoom etc it's completely different for me - I almost feel the opposite of the article writer, I can barely see the people and only ever a few of them, so I'm less nervous about the audience and can focus on what I want to say. I'd actually say I've been able to do much better at work because of the rise of zoom. Maybe I'm a minority.
