I think it might be worth it to add that we’re not talking about some guy in a nordic country living off the state; he is in a third world country where you need to work your ass off to pay the bills. I seriously don’t know how people actually pull it off.

So I have an app that assists play of a game called "werewolf" which is a party game usually played by at least 12 player at a time. I made that app two years ago for practicing my Flutter skill also at the time there was another app that was charging for the service so I figured why not just make one since it is not some rocket science. Since I released the app, my friends started to use it instead of other apps, and I have source code available on GitHub just as a proof to others that it was my work.
Couple of weeks ago, a not so close friend of mine came to me and said if he could add some new characters to the app, I agreed and gave him the link to my repo. What pissed me off though was that he shared some screenshots of him running the app from Android Studio on social platform saying something like "finally got it working", everybody was praising him in the comment section but I was like wtf bruh, u literally just running the app, why would you show it off like that? He also started to say to me how he cleaned up the code for me and started urging me to release the new version... I then decided that's it, I wouldn't let u touch my code no more, so I just left him hanging and went on with my life.
