I think this would be a good reason for mandatory open sourcing all tech as result of a company failure. That might not make it possible to replace or fix implants still, but at least it gives you a fighting chance.

Title seems wrong? The company almost went bankrupt and had to shut down any future services. The implants already installed continue to work as they did, they just can't be replaced. The title reads like the company turned off a server for old customers and now their eyes don't work
