Ask HN: What does your HN look like?

6 pointsby bukkaabout 3 years ago
We all know how this community loves software that can be customized and modded.
So, I'm curious what your Hacker News page looks like? Share a screenshot and explain the details of your scripts/styles/changes.
---
I'll start. My HN: https://i.imgur.com/z9D2XPr.png
I use Stylebot to implement custom CSS rules. I tried many dark HN extensions and most of them have issues with threading or style details I didn't like, so I just wrote my own CSS.
Then I use Tampermonkey to run a simple JS function which adds tags based on how many comments each article has. And I also tag articles as "Fresh" if they have been posted within the last hour.
I also plan to add sorting by comment count. The thing I loved most about HN is the discussions that happen within the comments.

I'll throw my theme into the mix. It doesn't cover everything since I don't yet have access to everything, but it works for me.
https://github.com/AdJaGu/Gruvy-Hacker-News

I didn't know people customized the HN webpage. I mean, I use Glider from F-Droid as a mobile client, because it's much better than browsing the website on mobile, but on desktop, the vanilla website is perfectly fine for me.

Mine is 150% scaled. The rest is the same (no plugins, no css rules).
