This video should be pointing out how prices change relative to Rubles not dollars. Relative to the dollar everything is cheaper now since the dollar went from about 83 to 133 rubles to the dollar - so everything seems cheap to us. We can think about it this way: what used to cost 1 US dollar now costs about 62% of its pre-war cost. But going the other way, it now costs 60% more to buy imported goods that are valued in dollars. That happened in less than 3 weeks and it will only get worse.<p>Most consumers won&#x27;t see the impact until businesses start to buy new products to sell and pass the costs down to them. Russians are really going to feel the pain soon.
