Go 1.18 compile time may be about 18% slower than Go.17 (generics)

This reminds me of conservatives saying government can't work and then turning it into self fulfilling prophecy. If the compiler is slower even when generics aren't being used then they screwed up their implementation Or the compiler being implemented in Go prevents having an efficient implementation...
