Yes, why not drag out skeletons from closets while people are dying? After all, everyone has a skeleton or two... Maybe if we play it up enough we can even dissuade people from helping Ukrainians fight for their country's sovereignty. That would be great, wouldn't it? Well, why don't we? My guesses are:<p>First, because that's not one of the top ten problems in the region. Make that top twenty.<p>Second, because Putin wants us to talk about them and noone wants to sound like one of Putin's sockpuppets. Even Putin's actual sockpuppets try to avoid that right now.
