I want to believe they've done sufficient testing with this chemical... but the legacy of so many like agent orange, PFAS, radium, asbestos, and on and on, leads me to suspect that some awful thing will be discovered about it.
Does it hurt the lungs, of humans or wildlife?
Does it reduce aerodynamics during takeoff and landing?
At the very least, its direct purpose of soaking up humidity could be detrimental to local flora.
