After 10 years as a loyal customer of everything Apple, it's time for me to say my goodbyes the the fruity yet snoopy mega-corp.
Money wasn't enough for dear Apple, it seems, and their new direction of listening in on their user's private digital activity has left an overtly sour taste in my mouth.
I don't want to be surveilled for conformance by the computer that I paid a bucket-load of money for. I don't want the keystrokes I type in private (i.e. not posts to Facebook) to determine my Social Credit Score.
So, it's time to say Sayonara Apple, and welcome in the Purism Librem Mini to my service. Many years may you reign, and I truly hope you have as few bugs as your predecessor (my Mac mini never faltered, only slowed down as Apple's planned / programmed obsolescence kicked in).
And Tim, if you're reading this, please stop what you're doing. You're taking our beloved company, and the world, in the wrong direction.
Not sure if you’re talking to me, but, the company was never yours.
For every you, there is literally tens to hundreds of thousands who would buy a canned fart if it was genuine apple.
In fairness to Apple, their devices devices go alright for lifespan and support.
Additionally, you probably could have booted pureOS on your old Mac mini.
Good on you for voting with your wallet though.
Highly recommend this drop down terminal add on.

Tim Apple has made it really clear he doesn't care about his customers, his shareholders, or anyone else at all. The only way to fix this issue is to help every Apple user in your life transition away from such a user-hostile company.
Also, any company that implements a Social Credit Score should be immediately overthrown, as it is too dangerous to exist. Fascism must be destroyed, permanently.
