Without implying anything about the source of covid, let me make an observation.
Covid19 is a perfect experiment to determine what might happen if someone were to release a devastating biological weapon. From this test case someone contemplating releasing such a weapon might conclude that even the most stringent controls (like those in China) could not hope to protect the nation that released the weapon.
If covid19 was indeed released as such an experiment, one hopes the results are clear.

I am mostly following this as I am convinced this news will tank equity markets sooner than later.
But this section which reads:
"Desperate, Luo went on to the social media site Weibo to plead for help. Local media soon called him, and medical help was quickly on the way. “Thankfully, the operation is done,” he said. “It’s not supposed to be this complicated, but as a small potato everything is so difficult for me.”"
Made me think it's right up HN's alley.
Sounds almost exactly the same as trying to get any necessary help from big tech these days.

Their case count is already so low the folks in quarantine are likely just unlucky victims of false positives or testing issues.
