Epigenetic reprogramming is very dangerous, but also very, very promising. If we can do this right, all kinds of regenerative medicine become possible: blind people seeing again, crippled people walking again, people with heart failures running again etc.<p>Altos Labs (recently co-financed by Bezos to the tune of some 3 billion dollars) has several scientists specializing in reprogramming, including a Spanish scientist who was able to reprogram living mice without causing any tumors.

Stem cells. Last time this type of therapy was in the news some woman got injections in Asia and had bone fragments growing in her Eyelids.

I&#x27;ve seen other stories where they e overcome the tumour generation from this technique (in mice).<p>It sounds like this kind of technique is almost ready for use in surgery to minimize scarring.
