I recently had a new install of macOS, and so decided to try the 1Password 8 Beta as opposed to 1Password 7. 8 is sorely lacking compared to 7, but that is probably due to it being beta (I hope). The Firefox extension was essentially a separate instance and did not connect to the desktop install, so I had to login again and could not use TouchID for example. Not to mention browser autofill was broken and all the shortcuts I had gotten used to changed! Although I didn’t mind the new appearance, it was very clearly not a native app and the experience unfortunately suffers for it (just one example, scrolling your list of accounts/passwords sucks and flickers).
So far it seems great, I always thought the previous iOS interface was clunky and slow.<p>I’d love to see a “drag down to search” gesture like Craft rather than a whole tab dedicated to search.
