Obviously, Tesla is all electric. But what about the other brands? I wish they broke out gas v green for the other brands.
Anecdotally, I've been considering getting another AWD Subaru. But afaik, they don't have an EV option. If they do, their marketing hasn't communicated that. In 2022, how can that be?
If the other brands hadn't been so slow to consider EVs, might these charts look different? Not only in makeup, but in numbers? Speaking for myself, I'd like to avoid another gas vehicle, but might have to wait (read: lack of sales now). Perhaps I'm not alone in that wait?

Ha! In 2009 I surprised, how it could be, when in world crisis, raised sales of vip autos.
Then I study this, and release, that in crisis, middle class splits to two parts.
- One part become low-middle, and saves on every day things; instead of change auto every 3-5 years, switch to 7-8 years, etc.
- Other part become high-middle, and switched from middle class autos to vip.
But if count ALL sales pyramid, and paint distribution graphic, will see, that as it should be, main part of distribution decreased (middle part), but long tail see extremes, mathematics rules.
Tesla success is because it now associated with middle-top, so it eats sales of consumer-prestigious machines, like BMW 5/7 series, SLK, Porsche, top AUDI models. If Tesla have not existed, will be ordinary splash of sales of these expensive brands.
