A whole passel of podcasts, to the tune of about $70 per month.
It's only a small fraction of the podcasts I listen to. Most are ad supported (and occasionally I buy the advertised products; I'm looking forward to another FuegoBox momentarily). I also listen to a fair bit of BBC radio.
I download about 30 hours of podcasts per week. Between PocketCasts features (skip opening, speedup, silence elimination) and skipping episodes I don't care about (reruns, news I've heard elsewhere, dull topics), I probably spend ~10 hours per week listening.
I wish there were a more direct way to connect the podcast to the Patreon. Many put links in the text, but I usually don't read that. I will pay attention when they call it out, and I think I probably pay for about half the podcasts I listen to. The $70 "podcast bill" seems about fair for so much content.
I pay for several woodworking related YouTube channels and podcasts. I only pledge where I feel the money makes a difference in keeping the creator(s) going. I pledge the amount I would be willing to pay to bring the content back if they stopped.
