If all the clickbait manufactured by the media wasn't enough for you, now it seems that the "scientists" are also competing in that market.

That is, it may be an adaptive strategy to presume that I am an asshole due to my age and gender, until I demonstrate otherwise.<p>But "just" does not equal "adaptive".
Stereotypes are a legitimate shortcut to critical judgment. But they are only shortcuts. Forming a conclusion of causation based on stereotypes is the epitome of sloppy, bigoted logic. And it happens a lot.
Whenever I see something sexist like this, I like to imagine what kind of public outrage there would be if the gender roles were simply switched.<p>For example, these "researchers" could have easily made a different "discovery": "Biggest Karens Often Middle-Aged Women"
