I believe him. But I also believe he&#x27;ll be seeking profit in a shrinking community because a cohort who don&#x27;t want to be monetised will leave.<p>The evidence is strong that FB departure ranks high amongst people who feel over-monetized. Who were they monetizing? the kids. What did the kids do? They left, because it stopped being cool. Where did they go? Tik-Tok, which I believe has defied attempts to make it visibly monetized. (could be wrong)<p>&quot;Like and subscribe&quot; appeals only to other wannabes<p>I think I can argue the left will leave more than the right, because the right both respect &quot;comment is free but reward has merit&quot; and &quot;it is glorious to grow rich&quot; where the left is a bit more addicted to humblebragging and displays of value without attaching value to the display!
