As controversial as John Deere's anti-right-to-repair policies have been, the company has remotely disabled plundered farm equipment that was taken to Chechnya. On one hand I remain irritated at their anti-consumer stance, while on a different level this is satisfying.

Pretty sure most people who jailbreak their tractors get their software from Russia. I have no doubt they&#x27;ll be able to overcome the lockout.
