No. English is the <i>current</i> Language of Science. Up till about 1950, German was the Language of Science. Before German, it was French (IIRC). Going back further still, it was Latin.<p>It seems the Language of Science is beginning to change as more and more Chinese papers are being written. Soon those Chinese papers will be published in Chinese instead of in English. Just like the Language of Science changed from German to English when the US started producing most of the Scientific Papers.
