Does anyone have any experience with the current version of OpenShot that they would like to share?
I have been using iMovie on the Mac to edit short educational and presentation videos, and I have been thinking of switching to something with more features and flexibility. I downloaded DaVinci Resolve a few days ago and was very impressed by the feature set, but the learning curve seems a bit high. I should note that I am not anything like a video-native person; even figuring out how to use iMovie was challenging for me at first.
Recent mentions of OpenShot on HN suggest mixed opinions [1].
[1] https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&qu...

I remember installing Ubuntu just to be able to use OpenShot, there was nothing like it on Windows where I had to do most of my work. Great to see that it’s cross-platform now, as of about 9 years ago.
