That the people raising concerns about "AI" have a track record of living off of hype instead of reality is kinda comforting.
If we're going by strict definitions then we already have 'artificial general intelligence (AGI) that reaches (or exceeds) human-level cognition', most people are complete morons and computers can already out-think them.
