More like rampant tax avoidance just like with Egold, and regular gold, paired with perpetual forgetting that Bitcoin is the opposite of anonymous, especially if you buy it with a credit card or via an exchange that has your legal name.<p>It's a wasteful technology, for the most part, to put it mildly. This feels like preemptive scapegoating. Sure, this is possible, but only if the marketcap continues to grow at a rapid rate. Currently, it's a drop in the bucket compared to the marketcap of securities and has yet to reach gold's marketcap of ~$10T.
