Plenty of good documentaries and science on this. Lost of habitat, over fishing, poor management. Farming isn't the fix. Neither is hatcheries.

There are a lot of humans on the planet, and too many of us striving to live like royalty, leading to imbalanced resource conversion. Long-term, the planet is still a ball of elements orbiting the sun, but our potentially extensive story is shorter that it might have been.
