For anyone lost, CentOS has become a rolling RHEL preview, and Alma is a CentOS fork to bring back stable releases.

I used CentOS 8 as OS on my dev machine and my VDS. After EOL I migrated to AlmaLinux 8. I don't feel any changes by compare with CentOS and it's important for me. I'm planning to migrate to AL 9 when upstream (RHEL) adds the modules to OS.

I have migrated to CentOS streams and it has been a nice and solid experience so far,<p>I think I am getting a bit tired of trying to track the latest clone distro and made peace with the fact that CentOS streams is maybe not exactly the same RHEL but still a stable server distro.

Already downloaded and putting it through its paces, looking good so far. Great work!

I&#x27;m using rocky linux since the last CentOS drama, this seems to be the same, why both teams are not joining efforts to make this even more viable?

Very nice system. Migrated to AL8 from CentOS8. Only positive impressions

That was fast. Too early to adopt for me, but the speed is encouraging.
