Any iOS App Store apps that do not track or collect information?

2 pointsby erybodyknowsalmost 3 years ago
Are there any reputable external lists, or third party resources, to find collections of apps that minimize data collection or do not engage with it at all? Simple apps like a basic metronome or a habit tracker all seem to have data collection baked in. On Android I could use fDroid or similar. What is the best approach on iOS? We can use web apps to some extent, but is there a better way?

I like the way you can see a sort of 'nutritional label' breakdown of what personal data iOS apps collect. You can see it clearly laid out before you download an app, so look for apps that collect nothing. This doesn't solve your problem, as in, you want a curated list of apps with good privacy, which I haven't seen yet. Although F-Droid maintains a good list, but it's Android only .APKs
