I wonder if this is an evolution of the failed scheme to attract award winning scientists through a fast track visa system. <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.newscientist.com&#x2F;article&#x2F;2298455-uk-visa-scheme-for-prize-winning-scientists-receives-no-applications&#x2F;" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.newscientist.com&#x2F;article&#x2F;2298455-uk-visa-scheme-...</a><p>While I&#x27;m sure graduates are easier to get than noble prize winners, I don&#x27;t think visas are really the big thing for top level graduates. There is definitely some prestigious positions in UK like deep mind but you&#x27;re still competing against US salaries. London fintech is the closest but are they all to go there?

Good for the UK, but already some push back on the lack of African &#x2F; LATAM &#x2F; Indian Universities on the list. It may not be the intent but will essentially produce Trumpian immigration policy outcomes
